Decommissioning and RAW Management Department

ENPRO Consult participated in the process of the Decommissioning of Units from 1 to 4 of the Kozloduy NPP in the Republic of Bulgaria from 2003 to 2022.
- ENPRO Consult, works as a subcontractor of the Project Management Unit (PMU) for Decommissioning (D), under Contracts for the provision of consulting services to Kozloduy NPP and the State Enterprise Radioactive Waste (SERAW), for the purpose of Decommissioning of Units from 1 to 4 of Kozloduy NPP and construction of a National Disposal Facility (NDF).
- ENPRO Consult, under the Project Management Unit for Decommissioning of Units from 1 to 4 of Kozloduy NPP, has participated in the management and implementation of over sixty (60) projects during the years.

- ENPRO Consult has been involved in PMU with our experts, who are some of the best in the field, for nearly 20 years.
ENPRO Consult participated under a Contract for the provision of consulting services from January 2003 to January 2013. The contracting authority under the contract is Kozloduy NPP.
ENPRO Consult participated under a Contract for the provision of consulting services from January 2013 to January 2022. The Client under the contract is the State Enterprise Radioactive Waste.
- The contract for the provision of consulting services is related to the overall process of decommissioning and dismantling, the safety of nuclear facilities and includes an assessment of safety, radiation protection and radiological impacts assessment on people and the environment.
- ENPRO CONSULT support the Client in the establishment and operation of the PMU, responsible for the implementation of the Decommissioning of Units from 1 to 4 of the Kozloduy NPP and the construction of a National Disposal Facility for low and intermediate level RAW.
- ENPRO CONSULT assists the Client in improving various processes, such as engineering support, deliveries, document review, etc., related to the implementation of the Contract, in order to ensure its execution.
- ENPRO CONSULT support the Client in the implementation of the Projects for D and construction of the NDF, financed by the KIDSF fund, which over the years have been the responsibility of KNPP and SERAW.

Electrical and Instrumentation and Control Department
Preparation of design solutions for parts Electrical and I&C for the industry in all phases of the investment process according to Ordinance No.4 of 21.05.2001 for the scope and content of the investment projects:
- Feasibility studies
- Preparation and/or coordination of technical specifications for acquiring quotations from equipment suppliers;
- Coordination of non-standard design solutions with manufacturers of main and auxiliary equipment. Review of quotations/specifications prepared by suppliers for compliance with the technical specifications and applicable regulatory requirements;
- Conceptual design – several options are considered and serves as the basis for developing the next design phase;
- Technical Design – preparation of complete design documentation for obtaining a constructional permit, according to the terms of reference and applicable regulatory requirements;
- Detail Design – details for installation and determination of specific operating conditions of equipment;
- Complete design documentation with drawings, explanatory note and Bill of Quantities according to national labor standarts in construction;
- Author’s supervision – consulting and securing the investor’s interest during site construction;
